Chantra ("the App") is a mantra chanting and meditation app. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your data stays on your device.
The App requests microphone access to detect your chanting in real time. Audio is processed locally on your device to measure amplitude and detect repetitions. No audio is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
The App uses Apple's Speech Recognition framework to assist with mantra detection. Speech data is processed by Apple's on-device and server-based speech recognition services, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive, store, or have access to any speech transcription data.
The following data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
This data is not transmitted to any server and is not accessible to us. It is included in your device backups (iCloud or local) according to your device settings.
The App may offer premium content via Apple's In-App Purchase system. All transactions are processed by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information. Purchases are subject to Apple's Terms and Conditions.
The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not track your usage, location, or behavior.
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The App is suitable for all ages and does not require any personal information to function.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App, or by clearing App data in your device's Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Chantra.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
